## Job Description ##

We are supporting a well-established and fast-growing Swiss MedTech company in the search for a Finance Manager to take on a newly created leadership position at their headquarters in the Bern region.

This organization is entering an exciting phase of transformation, focused on innovation, international expansion, and operational excellence. Finance plays a pivotal role in this journey, and they are now looking to strengthen their team with a hands-on leader who brings both technical depth and a strategic mindset.

In this key role, you will lead the accounting function, take ownership of financial reporting and compliance, and contribute actively to shaping future finance processes, systems, and structures.

You-ll also work closely with senior leadership and have a direct impact on the company-s global financial operations.

**Your Responsibilities as the Finance Manager:**

* Lead and develop the accounting team, promoting a culture of clarity, trust, and continuous improvement
* Take full ownership of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER
* Ensure compliance with statutory obligations (VAT, tax) and maintain a robust internal control framework
* Actively participate in closing, reporting, and audit processes
* Build and enhance treasury and liquidity management across the global group
* Drive process improvements and digitalization within the finance function
* Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, banks, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders


**Candidate Profile:**

* Certified Swiss CPA or chartered accountant (eidg. dipl. Experte/in Rechnungswesen & Controlling or dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer/in)
* Deep knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER with several years- experience in financial reporting; audit background is a plus
* Advanced SAP FI expertise, ideally including S/4HANA
* Independent, structured, and solutions-focused, with a pragmatic and hands-on mindset
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with a clear focus on priorities
* Fluent in both German and English
