The role leverages expertise in people leadership, project and portfolio capacity management, continuous improvement methodologies, and technical and digital capabilities to deliver business value in a dynamic environment.The OpportunityYou ensure project management excellence within your team and further develop the SRO's capabilities and skills, to become a high performing organization leveraging business process automation, leveraging AI for project and performance management, and dynamic reporting. Provide direction and overall leadership for the Project Managers and collaborate with technical leaders across PT, including project management, strategic analysis, program coordination, financial/material/service oversight, and change and communications managementLead the delivery of technology projects and programs, ensuring the coordinated and sequenced execution of the PT Technology Portfolio as well as the portfolio of Technical Roadmaps of our marketed products Lead a team of 5-10 senior project managers, fostering excellence and contributing to portfolio management, as well as driving strong talent development and cultivating robust enterprise-wide networksMandate for Excellence in LEAN, structured problem solving, and proactively identifying improvementsStrategize and lead program planning, including project evaluation and prioritization.Oversee program and project activities, including baseline schedules and cost control ($0.5M-$50M)Define and implement tailored change management plans for senior stakeholders, promoting agile concepts and driving cultural shiftsWho you areWe are looking for a senior leader with a strong project management expertise, technical knowledge, and a commitment to driving high-performance and systemic change.15+ years of Project Management and PMO experience, ideally in regulated fields such as medical/combo devices, pharmaceutical operations, or digital transformationHave significant senior people leadership experience, fostering inclusive, high-performing teams, and robust hands-on experience with PMO responsibilities (portfolio, capacity, risk, and change control management)Demonstrate extensive experience managing complex projects/programs, including GMP manufacturing technologies, and be proficient in Agile, Scrum, and other methodologies, including leading Project ManagersExhibit proven matrix leadership in influencing stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and building strong networks across business functions up to the executive levelShow an advanced understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, digital enablement, and trends like robotics and emerging technologies, coupled with experience in Operational Excellence and Lean methodologiesReady for the next step?
