### Your responsibility ###
* Underwrite / Infrastructure risks (CAR / EAR) and build up your own portfolio, according to Helvetia Group Underwriting Directives and Guidelines Strategy
* Conduct technical and insurance risk assessment
* Ensure accurate and complete recording of all underwriting information.
* Negotiate terms and conditions with brokers and clients
* Cultivate a strong understanding of the business provider network
* Attend national and international client and broker meetings as well as site visits when necessary
* Collaborate closely with our claims department for large and complex claims
### Your qualification ###
* University degree in engineering, law, business, insurance or commercial qualification
* Professional experience as an Underwriter, Senior Underwriter, Claims Manager, Loss Adjuster, or Insurance Professional willing to develop as an Underwriter or Senior Underwriter
* Solid understanding of the infrastructure and constructions sectors
* You tackle challenges with passion and demonstrate high expectations of your own performance
* You can develop stable partnerships across departmental boundaries and cooperate with internal and external stakeholders to meet common goals
* You have a positive, agile, and team-oriented approach
* Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is also beneficial
