Job overview:
The Director, Supply Chain Sustainability will be responsible for developing and executing sustainability strategies across our global supply chain, ensuring alignment with corporate ESG goals, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in sustainable sourcing, circular economy principles, carbon footprint reduction, and supplier engagement.
This role is based in Zug, Switzerland and requires 5 days per week in-office presence.
Your roles and responsibilities:
Develop and lead the company’s supply chain sustainability strategy, integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles
Identify and prioritize feasibility studies to evaluate the economic and product viability of sustainability initiatives across all brands globally
Lead Supply Chain emissions reduction strategy, particularly focused on beef emissions reduction plan, and pilot execution
Oversee animal welfare policy development and implementation (focus on chicken)
Support Global Sustainability team in the development of RBI’s Sustainability strategy and preparation of Restaurant Brands for Good report
Responsible for stakeholder alignment for roll-out of all sustainability initiatives, focusing on both business teams as well as support functions (Procurement, QA, Legal)
Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on supply chain sustainability performance and strategy
Your skills & experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Engineering or related field.
MBA with Supply Chain or Finance specialization preferred.
7-12 years of progressive experience in supply chain, sustainability or ESG roles.
Proven track record of implementing sustainability initiatives in complex, global supply chains.
Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, standards and reporting tools.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and project management skills.
Experience with data analytics and tools for tracking sustainability metrics.
Ability to influence and lead change across diverse teams and geographies.
Fluent in English.
