Come aboard and support the dispatch team of SWISS Technics. A multinational team will perform the worldwide shipping and receiving of technical aircraft spare parts. This job opportunity provides an exciting challenge in an interesting working environment within the aviation industry.
Tasks
- Perform and be responsible for the import- & export customs clearances for technical Aircraft material
- Tender, organize, book and follow-up on shipments with Airlines and freight forwarding companies in accordance with the applicable procedures and SOP’s
- Pack and prepare shipping documents in accordance to the valid rules and regulations for Air, Road- and Seafreight
- Update shipment status information in the System
- Pick-up and deliver Material to the freight department and escort trucks to and from the gates
- Inspection, administration and storage of unserviceable parts (U/S)
Packing of parts in accordance to the manufacturer- and ATA 300 specification
- Ensure that DG material is handled, stored and packed in accordance IATA DG regulations
- Loading and unloading of trucks
Your profile
- Education as freight forwarder, customs expert or logistics specialist
- Several years of experience in logistics and supply chain (preferably in the aviation industry)
- Dangerous Goods education is an advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Resilient and flexible personality
- Willingness to work shifts (early, late and weekend)
- MS Office knowledge
- AMOS system knowledge is an advantage
- Trained to drive forklift is a plus
- Driving license Cat. B is mandatory
- Fluent (written & spoken) in German and English
