How you’ll make an impact
Conduct high-quality industrial research in software for sustainable power grids, focusing on software architecture and distributed systems
Design innovative approaches to automate the power grid and transform them into functional prototypes
Collaborate with global, interdisciplinary teams across Research and Business Units to drive impactful solutions
Tackle real-world challenges with practical, forward-thinking ideas that push the boundaries of current technology
Foster strong internal networks and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
Engage with external partners such as universities, start-ups, and technology providers to expand innovation
Present research outcomes through scientific publications, patent filings, and technical documentation
Help shape the future direction of our research strategy and methodologies
Your background
PhD in computer science, software engineering or a related technical field
Track record in applying software engineering principles to complex systems, e.g. embedded systems, real-time systems, and / or Internet of Things (edge computing, cloud computing)
Know-how of distributed systems, performance engineering, AI/ML for software engineering, and / or power grid automation applications is a plus
Excellent communication skills, team player attitude, initiative, and creativity
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
