### Your responsibility ###

* Identify industrial manufacturing business opportunities in line with Helvetia Group's Underwriting Directives and Strategy
* Negotiate profitable terms and conditions with brokers and clients
* Conduct detailed underwriting analysis of Industrial Property accounts
* Review exposures, insurance contract terms, pricing, and capacity
* Assess loss expectations and maximum loss scenarios
* Build an extensive global broker network knowledge
* Attend national and international client and broker meetings as well as site visits when necessary
* Collaborate closely with our claims department on large and complex claims

### Your qualification ###

* Extensive experience as an Underwriter in Property Underwriting within the heavy manufacturing sector
* Experience working in major insurance hubs such as London or Paris is considered an advantage
* You preferably hold a university degree in engineering along with relevant field experience
* You demonstrate strong business acumen and maintain an informed understanding of the market, including connections to risk managers across various manufacturing companies
* You tackle challenges with commitment and set high standards for personal performance
* You possess strong analytical and business skills
* You are able to build and maintain stable partnerships across departments and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet common goals
* You have a positive, adaptable, and team-oriented attitude
* High proficiency in English is required; proficiency in other European languages, such as French or German, is also key
